Pam is an amazing coach who helps people go from an idea to an actual business.  Her book, “Escape From Cubicle Nation” is full of invaluable advice for entrepreneurs and has concrete action steps to move you along.  She is clear, articulate, and creative.  One of her amazing strengths is the ability to calmly get people unstuck and past their lizard brain fears.  Her blog escapefromcubiclenation.com is a great resource of free information for startups.

JONATHAN FIELDS OF CAREER RENEGADE

Jonathan is a highly creative renegade.  He helps people think outside of the box and see ways to follow their passions while earning a decent living.  He does podcast interviews with people who have been successful on non-traditional paths.  His book, “Career Renegade”  is full of hope and information for when you are starting a new business that is off the beaten track.  His blog jonathanfields.com is a refreshing resource.

My old law school friend Jason Mendelson has a blog full of information for startups from a venture capitalist’s perspective, Mendelson’s Musings.  jasonmendelson.com Jason is funny, engaging and smart as a whip.   He even won an ABA law blog award.  He also does lots of beer reviews — maybe a throw back to his days as a band drummer.

Naomi Dunford of Ittybiz has a funny, irreverent blog full of great marketing advice for startups.  ittybiz.com It’s a great place to go when you feel overwhelmed and you need a laugh. She also has mini-marketing schools and ebooks that help new business owners at itty prices.
